As students develop their skills, they will have the opportunity to complete RAD-certified exams, which provide a structured pathway for advancing through the grade levels. Intermediate dancers

8-12 years

A stress free, enjoyable jazz class for those just starting as a dancer or moving up from a junior class. This class continues to focus on growing the dancers abilities and techniques as they continue to grow.
It blends ballet, jazz, and modern dance, focusing on expressing emotions through smooth, flowing movements. The choreography is more advanced than beginner levels, with more complex steps, jumps, and turns. Dancers improve their technique, control, and ability to tell a story through their movements.
This class is a perfect start for those wanting to join hiphop. Beginner friendly for those new to the style that can eventually transition into slightly more advanced moves.

For instance, plie exercises are consistently incorporated in the lower grades, allowing students to progressively deepen their plie and enhance their turnout. The underlying principle is that dedicating ample time to perfecting technique before introducing new terminology makes it easier for students to grasp more challenging steps while continually honing their fundamental skills.

Lyrical is a Slow Modern/Neo-Classical style of dance incorporating classical technique with modern expressions and a slight contemporary feel. The class is aimed at the more mature dancer that can fully express and portray emotion and feeling, and therefore consists of mainly adults (with mature-minded younger students). The lyrical class is structured with a gentle warm up, followed by technical exercises, then lyrical choreography.
